My girlfriend Jackie keeps whinging to me that her man doesn't find her attractive any more. Since they had their first kid she's stacked on the weight though. What makes it worse though is when we go to the shops she still insists on wearing hipsters and letting her guts hang out like Barlow and Chambers.

You need to be brutally honest with the porky princess.
You also need to be brutally honest with yourself!
It's one thing to continue to be a supportive friend over the 'phone but you shouldn't have to be seen in public with her. In fact I believe fat people should only be allowed to shop between certain hours (10AM - 11AM & 2PM - 3PM). It's a Health & Safety issue.
I would suggest if you MUST be seen in public with her you try to keep it within this time frame in order to minimise visibility.
Remember there is no such thing as a fat celebrity.
