COOCHY COOCHY COUP?
December 30th 2006 08:18
Lexusland - In what is being described as a really shit coup for blogging, the management of internet heavyweight joebloggsblog.net in conjunction with Pain & Misery Enterprises (trading as the Collingwood Football Club) announced today the signing of the almost exclusive rights to Collingwood FC website columnist and champion gerbil breeder Hotrod.
The deal, written in blood or possibly just a red pen, allows joebloggsblog.net total access to the rantings and ravings of one of football's most unpredictable writers.

Announcing the news today at a packed press conference joebloggsbog.net CEO, Joe Bloggs, heralded the signing of Hotrod as jbb.net's chief sports writer as "A massive get."
"I know a lot of people might think "Football? Why ruin a good blog?" but jbb.net aims to cater for a wide spectrum of readership as we continue to grow like weeds on the footpath of internet life."
"I've been a big fan of Hottie and to tric.....to sign him for this coming footy season is a huge plus. A huge plus!"
Hotrod, wearing dark glasses and speaking through a lawyer, read out this prepared statement.
"I was drunk at the time and this man asked me for an autograph. We are currently looking at our options."
The 2007 AFL season begins in March.

The fact that Carlton have been unable to do so despite this has not only been an endless source of mirth but a financial goldmine to the likes of me.
But I'm not here to rub anybodies noses in it.
It is just a game.
And we are all winners.
Even Digby Morell.
