SPRINGSTEEN ARRESTED FOR MURDER OF TONY DANZA

* Never threw in the towel
Los Angeles - The twin drug filled and sex crazed worlds of television and rock 'n' roll were in total shock yesterday following the brutal slaying of former 80's heart throb and tv star Tony Danza.
But shock turned to disbelief when LAPD officers arrested professional working class hero, Bruce Springsteen and charged him with Danza's murder after a six hour night-time chase which police officers described as dancing in the dark.
* Born to run but not fast enough!
It is believed the trouble all began when Springsteen, in Hollywood shopping for $800 faded denim jeans, ran into Danza on Hollywood Boulevarde.
Witnesses claim Springsteen began yelling at the actor, "Who's The Boss? I'm The Boss! Who's The Boss? I'm The Boss!!" over and over before attacking the former star of the similarly named sitcom with a knife.
Ambulance officers arriving at the scene had seen it all before though.
"It's like someone took a knife baby
edgy and dull and cut a six-inch valley
through the middle of his soul," said Jim Shorts, who was first at the scene.
* Stumped?
The news was all too much for Australian Test opener, Springsteen fan and Tony Danza Fan Club member, Justin Langer.
"It's like my whole world has imploded", said Langer who immediately announced his retirement from international cricket.
"At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
and a freight train running through the
middle of my head," said Langer.
"Enough is enough. Unlike The Boss, I just can't cut it anymore!"
